The meteorite is a fragment of an iron meteorite with the location Campo del Cielo. It is assumed that the age of the meteorite is 4.5 billion years and he has hit the earth about 4500 years ago. I decided to use inplace casting in a silver plate, with an impact pattern. In this process, the inlay is embedded directly into the sand casting mold, so that it is partially enclosed and held by the silver.
