The Folium Origin is a finely structured pendant made from 925 sterling silver, created through a direct imprint of nature. Its origin is a savoy cabbage leaf, whose surface was captured using liquid silver clay. After drying, the piece was sintered, transforming it into a homogeneous, stable 925 sterling silver body. What remains is not an interpretation of nature, but its exact trace.
The resulting structure is exceptionally fine and deep. Micro-veins, overlaps, and organic irregularities are visible and tactile. This level of detail could not be reproduced using conventional molding or engraving techniques. Every surface carries the imprint of a real moment.
After sintering, the pendant was carefully ground and polished without flattening the structure. It was then gold-plated, accentuating the leaf’s topography and giving the object a warm, vibrant depth. Light refracts across the fine elevations, creating a shifting interplay of shine and shadow.
The pendant is light, precise, and calm in its presence. A piece of nature preserved in metal, without decorative exaggeration.
